Teeth Whitening FAQ'S

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I WHITEN MY TEETH?

We suggest using our system for the first 7 consecutive days. Make sure you take progress photos so you can see your cheeky white smile develop. Smoking, drinking caffeine (tea, coffee, coke) and red wine will stain your teeth. We suggest limiting these during the course of the treatment for faster results.

HOW LONG IS EACH WHITENING SESSION?

Each whitening session should be 30-45 minutes. This allows the gel enough time to break down and start removing stains from your teeth. Apply no more then 0.5ml to each of the walls in the mouth tray. Overfilling can lead to slight gum sensitivity. You must use our provided LED in order for the gel to be activated.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO MAINTAIN MY RESULTS?

Once you have reached your new shade of white we suggest only using our system once a month. If you are a smoker, drink lots of caffeine or red wine. We then recommend once every 2 weeks.

WHAT IF I HAVE SENSITIVE TEETH?

We recommend not using our system if you already experience extreme sensitivity. Most people don't have any issues using this system but if sensitivity occurs we suggest rinsing your mouth with warm water and brushing your teeth using a sensitive toothpaste. Sensitivity will last no longer the 24 hours. We recommend not continuing use if extreme sensitivity occurs.

WHO CANNOT WHITEN THEIR TEETH?

If you are pregnant or breastfeed we recommend you seek medical advice before using our system. If you have sensitive or decayed teeth, have exposed roots or have previously had any dental procedures, we also recommend consulting your health care professional. Our whitening gel will not whiten crowns, caps, fillings or veneers. Our whitening gel will only whiten natural teeth enamel.

WHAT IS THE LONGEVITY OF THE WHITENING GEL?

Our whitening gel has a shelf life of 2 years if unopened and stored in a cool dry place. If gel has been opened then the shelf life is only 12 months.
